Your personal uniform cheat sheet

In the previous posts, we reviewed uniforms, personal uniforms and how to create your own uniforms for work, everyday, formal, active, and lounging occasions, and how to incorporate accessories in your personal uniform.

In this post, we’ll review how to document your personal uniform into a cheat sheet. I’ve found that people are more likely to maintain their defined personal style and personal uniforms when it’s documented.

Additionally, before beginning to declutter your wardrobe, it will be helpful to have this ‘cheat sheet’ to help you decide what to keep and what to retire.

Step 1:

  1. Decide if you prefer to use the table or visual template

    • If you want to use the visual template, log into a google account and select ‘Make a copy’

This is the visual template completed and printed out. Access here if you’d like to use this version.

  • If you want to use the table template, select ‘Duplicate’ in the upper right corner.

Step 2:

  1. Fill out the template table or visual template based based on your findings from the following posts:

    1. How to define your style

    2. How to find your work uniform

    3. How to find your personal uniforms

Step 3:

  1. Print off your completed template and put it in your closet or bedroom or save to your phone for easy reference.
