Work Flats

Story:

When I was relocating to New York for work, I was concerned that my style wasn't professional enough. The day before I left for my final work trip before our move, I went shoe shopping with my husband to find the perfect pair of black heels. We tried on every type of black heel imaginable - different heel heights, textures, brands, prices...everything! By the time we found a pair that worked, there were boxes everywhere and because we were short on time, we grabbed the winning pair and checked out. The next day, I walked into the office headquarters wearing my old (very unprofessional) winter boots, but when I changed into my new heels I realized that we had grabbed the wrong size! The heels were painfully too small and there was no way I could make it through the day. So, at lunch time I ran to the H&M down the street and bought these flats. I keep them at work for emergencies.
