How to create more outfits with less
The easiest place to start when shifting to a minimal wardrobe is to examine the “versatility” of each piece.
Most of us have about five uniforms we need. Disclosure: You may have more, less, or different than mine, which are:
Look at each piece in your wardrobe and assign a Versatility Score to it. For example, this white button up I’m wearing in these photos gets a 5/5 because I’m able to wear it for each of my 5 uniforms: Lounge, Active, Everyday, Formal, Work
It’s not realistic that ~every~ piece you own can be styled for ~every~ occasion, but your goal should be to get an overall wardrobe score that’s fairly high.
This way of thinking makes shopping decisions easier. Look for pieces that fill the gap in your wardrobe and can work across the most possible categories.
