Your base & accent colors

These colors apply across every uniform you build next — consistency here is exactly what makes separate pieces mix and match. Base is your neutral foundation (pick up to 2); accent is what brings your personality (pick up to 3).

Build your uniforms

Same colors, five contexts. The real goal isn't five separate outfits — it's a small set of pieces that overlap across as many uniforms as possible.

From the guideYour clothing should span multiple uniform categories to get the most versatility out of the fewest pieces. There will always be exceptions — a black-tie look will probably only ever be Formal — and that's fine. The goal is overlap where it's realistic, not everywhere.

The five uniform types

WorkOffice days and video meetings. Usually your most reserved uniform — a narrower base, a controlled accent.

EverydayErrands, casual hangouts, coffee shops. Usually your most flexible uniform, and the one most likely to overlap with the others.

FormalWeddings, dates, religious occasions, important events. Most likely to include a piece that doesn't cross over anywhere else.

ActiveGym, walking, hiking, yoga — anything built for movement.

LoungeTV nights, chores, travel days, sleep. Often overlaps heavily with Active.

Core vs. accent pieces

Core piecesCan be worn with almost every uniform \u2014 your everyday workhorses. This is the default for anything you add.

Accent piecesSpecial pieces that bring personality to one uniform in particular. You decide \u2014 check the \u201caccent piece\u201d box when adding it, or tap \u201cAccent?\u201d next to it later. Accessories (jewelry, bags, hats) are often accent pieces, but that's your call.
